FALL SESSION B: OCTOBER 16TH - DECEMBER 10TH
PRINCIPLES OF LEADERSHIP; MIN 102
Instructors: Dr. Bobby Hill
Dates: Wednesdays, 6:30pm-9:30pm
Location: Riverbend Church, N. Suffolk Campus (VBI Classroom)
Course Description: This foundational course provides students with an understanding of leadership using a biblical model including an emphasis on the heart and skills of effective leaders. Topics like servant leadership, building a team, becoming a visionary leader, developing other leaders, and more. Particular emphasis will be placed on leading a church or a ministry organization but will have application to many disciplines.
INTRODUCTION TO CHRISTIAN COUNSELING – COUNS 101
Instructors: Dr. Dan Bergey
Dates: Saturday’s, 9:00AM – Noon
Location: New Life Currituck, 4134 Caratoke Highway, Barco, NC 27917
This course is designed to help individuals understand and develop basic Christian counseling principles, while learning how to respond to others by sharing compassion and hope.

Attend the “Principles of Leadership” course with Dr. Bobby Hill or the “Introduction to Christian Counseling ”course with Dr. Dan Bergey and the first two classes are a come and see opportunity.
The first two weeks are a non-strings attached, tuition-free preview experience. If you are interested in continuing the eight-week program for course credit you may register at a reduced tuition rate of $175.00 (plus a discounted student application fee of $25.00).
